Prominent Attorneys Vidmar and Sweeney Join Logan Yumkas LLC

(Annapolis, MD) – March 11, 2009 – Sean Logan and Larry Yumkas of the law firm of Logan Yumkas, LLC, today announced that Jim Vidmar and Paul Sweeney, formerly of the law firm Linowes & Blocher, have joined the newly expanded firm of Logan, Yumkas, Vidmar & Sweeney, LLC.  The Annapolis-based firm combines the expertise of some of the area’s most prominent corporate bankruptcy and commercial litigation attorneys.

Vidmar is past president of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for Maryland and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. In 1992, Vidmar was the first lawyer in Maryland to become board certified in business bankruptcy law by the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification.

Paul Sweeney is a specialist in bankruptcy and commercial litigation.  His experience includes an emphasis on receiverships and related litigation in state and Federal courts.  He has served as a Bankruptcy Trustee for the Office of the U.S. Trustee in the Greenbelt and Baltimore Divisions of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland.  He is admitted to practice in state and Federal courts in Maryland, District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Sweeney is past president of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the District of Maryland and a member of the Board of Directors.
